Position Overview:
As a Collections Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the company receives timely payments from clients. This role requires strong financial analysis skills, customer service excellence, and problem-solving abilities to maintain Telaid’s financial health. Key Responsibilities:

• Use accounting software to generate reports and review open accounts for past-due balances.

• Track invoices nearing due dates and send reminders to customers proactively.

• Identify overdue amounts based on customer payment terms.

• Contact customers via phone or email in a professional manner to resolve outstanding payments while maintaining positive client relationships.

• Collaborate with Project Accountants and Project Managers to address billing issues and delinquent accounts.

• Reconcile discrepancies between customer records and company accounts.

• Escalate unresolved past-due accounts to the Credit & Collections Manager as needed.

• Provide timely follow-up on payment arrangements.

• Assist with generating and submitting invoices across various software platforms.

• Apply payments to customer accounts and review credit reports to establish credit limits for new customers.

• Identify trends in account delinquency and propose solutions to management.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred).

• At least 2 years of experience in billing and collections.

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

• Ability to work independently and excel in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

• Experience with ERP systems and project accounting environments is a plus.

• Knowledge of Crystal Reports, Power BI, and SQL is desirable.
