Anaplan Developer

We are looking for Anaplan Developers at different seniority levels to join the team supporting our client, a company in the stock exchange industry. We have multiple openings: some focus on maintaining and improving existing planning models, and others lead the design and build of new ones. Whether you are a solid model builder looking to grow or a senior expert ready to shape planning solutions end to end, we'd like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand, maintain, and troubleshoot existing Anaplan models, modules, lists, and dashboards

• Enhance existing modules based on business change requests and evolving planning needs

• Design and build new Anaplan models and modules, from requirements gathering through to production deployment (senior level)

• Translate business needs in areas such as financial planning, revenue forecasting, and cost planning into scalable model designs

• Manage data loads, integrations, and data flows between Anaplan and source systems

• Monitor and optimize model performance, scalability, and maintainability

• Manage deployments and releases using Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)

• Support business users during budgeting, forecasting, and reporting cycles

• Apply Anaplan best practices (Planual) and, at senior level, guide less experienced developers

• Leverage AI capabilities, such as Anaplan's predictive forecasting features, to enhance planning and scenario analysis

Requirements

• Hands-on Anaplan experience: 2+ years for mid-level roles, 5+ years including end-to-end model builds for senior roles

• Anaplan Certified Model Builder; Solution Architect certification or equivalent experience for senior roles

• Good understanding of Anaplan model structure: modules, lists, line items, time, and versions

• Experience with data imports, exports, actions, and integrations

• Understanding of financial planning processes such as budgeting, forecasting, and reporting

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Good communication skills and the ability to work closely with business stakeholders

Nice to Have

• Experience in stock exchanges, capital markets, or financial services

• Familiarity with Anaplan Connect, CloudWorks, or the Polaris engine

• Understanding of data warehousing, SQL, or ETL processes

• Experience mentoring or leading developers
