Community Manager — Run Monster Run

About the Role

Run Monster Run is looking for a Community Manager who knows that a great fandom is about more than watching a show — it's about the people who come together because they love it.

Your mission is to help turn Run Monster Run's audience into an active, connected community where fans can share their thoughts, discuss their favorite characters, come up with theories, and connect with other people who love the show.

From Discord conversations and Reddit threads to Facebook groups and other online spaces, you'll help create opportunities for fans to interact with each other and feel more connected to the world of Run Monster Run.

We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys being part of online communities, understands what makes people want to participate, and knows how to turn a group of viewers into an engaged fandom. If you love bringing people together around the things they enjoy, this could be right up your alley!

What You'll Do

• Build and nurture the Run Monster Run fandom across Discord, Reddit, Facebook groups, and other relevant online communities.

• Spark conversations around episodes, characters, storylines, theories, and memorable moments from the show.

• Engage with fans, respond to comments and questions, and help keep discussions active and welcoming.

• Organize community activities such as polls, discussions, fan challenges, contests, and other initiatives that encourage participation.

• Identify existing communities where Run Monster Run fans might be hanging out and find creative ways to introduce the show to them.

• Help fans connect with each other and create a sense of belonging around the series.

• Pay attention to what fans are talking about, what they care about, and what gets them excited, sharing those insights with the team.

• Explore new ways to encourage meaningful engagement and strengthen the relationship between the show and its audience.

• Help maintain a positive, inclusive community environment while handling spam, inappropriate behavior, and conflicts when necessary.

What We're Looking For

• Experience managing, moderating, or growing online communities, ideally on platforms such as Discord, Reddit, or Facebook groups.

• A strong understanding of online fandom culture and what makes people want to participate in a community.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage naturally with different types of people online.

• Creativity and initiative when it comes to starting conversations, organizing activities, and encouraging participation.

• The ability to build genuine connections with community members rather than simply posting updates and waiting for engagement.

• Good judgment when moderating discussions, handling disagreements, and keeping communities welcoming and respectful.

• A proactive, organized approach to managing multiple communities and keeping them active over time.

• A genuine interest in entertainment, animated shows, and the communities that grow around them.

What Success Looks Like

• Fans actively participate in discussions rather than simply consuming content.

• Community members return regularly, interact with each other, and develop a stronger connection with Run Monster Run.

• Community activities generate meaningful participation and help fans feel involved in the fandom.

• New fans discover the show through community discussions, recommendations, and shared enthusiasm.

• The team develops a better understanding of what the audience cares about and how to strengthen its connection with the series.
