Google Ads Specialist

About the Role

We are looking for a results-driven Google Ads Specialist to manage, optimize, and scale paid advertising campaigns across multiple Google platforms. In this role, you will be responsible for campaign execution, performance monitoring, keyword research, ad copywriting, and budget management.

You will work closely with the broader marketing team at Boldrisemarketing to ensure campaigns align with client objectives, deliver measurable results, and continuously improve performance. The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and comfortable taking ownership of campaigns with minimal supervision.

What You’ll Own

Campaign Management

• Plan, build, launch, and manage Google Ads campaigns across Search, Display, Shopping, and Video.

• Develop campaign structures that align with client objectives and performance targets.

• Monitor active campaigns and make regular adjustments to improve results.

Performance Monitoring & Optimization

• Review campaign performance daily, tracking key metrics such as CTR, conversion rates, impression share, and ROAS.

• Identify underperforming campaigns and implement improvements independently.

• Test different campaign settings, bidding strategies, and ad variations to improve performance.

Keyword Research & Audience Targeting

• Conduct keyword research using Google Keyword Planner and other relevant tools.

• Build relevant keyword lists and audience segments.

• Manage search term reports and maintain negative keyword lists to reduce wasted ad spend.

Ad Copywriting & Testing

• Write compelling ad headlines, descriptions, and variations that align with client messaging.

• Continuously test ad copy to improve engagement and conversion performance.

• Ensure advertising content is relevant, accurate, and aligned with campaign objectives.

Budget & Reporting Management

• Monitor daily and monthly advertising spend to ensure budgets are properly allocated.

• Manage campaign pacing to avoid overspending or underutilizing budgets.

• Prepare clear performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations.

• Communicate campaign progress, challenges, and optimization plans to internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Demonstrated hands-on experience managing Google Ads campaigns.

• Experience running at least one major campaign type: Search, Display, Shopping, or Video.

• Proficiency in Google Ads Manager, Google Analytics (GA4), and Google Tag Manager.

• Strong understanding of bidding strategies, Quality Score, ad auction mechanics, and conversion tracking.

• Experience conducting keyword research using Google Keyword Planner or similar tools.

• Ability to analyze campaign data, identify performance issues, and implement optimizations independently.

• Strong written English communication skills for ad copywriting, reporting, and team collaboration.

Nice to Have

• Experience managing multiple client campaigns simultaneously.

• Experience working across different industries or business types.

• Familiarity with broader digital marketing strategies and how paid advertising supports overall marketing objectives.

• Experience with A/B testing and ongoing campaign experimentation.
