Head of Revenue Operations & Sales Automation

SUMMARY:

We are looking for an experienced Head of Revenue Operations & Sales Automation to help build and scale the commercial operations behind a growing international professional services business.

This is a senior, hands-on role sitting at the intersection of Sales, Finance, Delivery, Marketing and Technology. You will be responsible for creating clearer commercial processes, improving data quality and forecasting, and using automation and AI to reduce manual work and enable teams to spend more time with clients, candidates and growth opportunities.

You will lead a small team focused on revenue intelligence, systems, automation and enablement, while working closely with senior commercial and finance stakeholders.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING:

As part of an agile software development team, you will:

• Own and continuously improve the commercial operating model, including sales stages, pipeline rules, forecast categories, MEDDPICC standards and regular commercial review processes.

• Build a trusted commercial data model across HubSpot, Bullhorn, Finance systems and Power BI.

• Establish clear standards for data quality, ownership, accuracy, completeness and reconciliation.

• Provide commercial leaders with meaningful visibility into pipeline health, forecasting, conversion, productivity and commercial risk.

• Own the roadmap for HubSpot, Bullhorn, Power BI, integrations, workflow automation, sales tooling and approved AI solutions.

• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive processes and reduce manual administration across sales and recruitment workflows.

• Design practical AI-enabled workflows where AI can prepare, analyse, recommend and complete appropriate low-risk tasks while maintaining clear human oversight.

• Establish appropriate governance around automation and AI, including permissions, testing, monitoring, data access and approval processes.

• Work closely with Finance on commission inputs, reconciliation, audit trails and exceptions.

• Partner with Marketing to improve lead definitions, scoring, routing, hand-offs and campaign-to-pipeline reporting.

• Embed MEDDPICC into CRM workflows, qualification standards, deal reviews, forecasting and manager coaching.

• Create dashboards, playbooks and practical tools that help managers, sellers and recruiters make better commercial decisions.

• Lead the adoption of new processes and technology through pilots, training, communication, feedback and continuous improvement.

• Review the commercial technology portfolio and identify opportunities to simplify tools, improve integrations and demonstrate value from technology investment.

• Manage external implementation partners where specialist HubSpot, Bullhorn, Power BI, integration, data or AI expertise is required.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• 5+ years' experience leading Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, commercial systems or go-to-market transformation within a B2B environment.

• Strong experience designing, implementing and driving adoption of CRM processes, ideally within HubSpot.

• Confidence working across CRM, ATS, reporting and finance-related data workflows.

• Strong understanding of pipeline management, forecasting, sales process design, data governance and commercial reporting.

• Practical experience implementing workflow automation, system integrations or AI-enabled process improvements.

• Strong analytical capabilities and experience with Power BI or comparable reporting platforms.

• Experience turning commercial data into actionable insights for senior leadership and sales management.

• Strong stakeholder-management skills, particularly when working with senior Sales and Finance stakeholders.

• Proven ability to drive organisational and behavioural change rather than simply implementing technology.

• Ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a lean and fast-moving environment.

• A commercial mindset with a focus on measurable improvements in forecasting, productivity, adoption and revenue performance.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

AWESOME BUT NOT REQUIRED:

• Experience implementing MEDDPICC or another structured B2B sales methodology.

• Experience working with Bullhorn or another recruitment-focused ATS.

• Experience supporting commissions, incentives or sales-performance management processes.

• Previous ownership of a HubSpot implementation, major CRM migration or multi-system integration programme.

• Experience designing or implementing AI-enabled sales or revenue operations workflows.

• Familiarity with AI governance, data privacy, permissions and access controls.

• Relevant certifications in HubSpot, Revenue Operations, Power BI, data governance, automation or change management.

• Experience working within professional services, technology consulting, recruitment or another people-led B2B services environment.
