ABOUT THE ROLE

Savvital is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Insurance Associate to support the day-to-day operations of a US-based insurance agency. This role combines commercial insurance quoting, policy renewals, health insurance administration, and office support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting US insurance agencies, strong organizational skills, and the ability to take ownership of policy renewals, client communication, and administrative processes.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Commercial Quoting & Market Submissions

• Review inbound prospect files (payroll, revenue, employee counts, operations)

• Compile and submit E&O, D&O, and Cyber Liability applications

• Complete ACORD applications for Workers' Comp and general commercial P&C

• Upload underwriting packets to carrier portals or underwriters directly; daily status follow up

• Commercial P&C & Surplus Lines Renewals

• Monitor QQCatalyst alert dashboard for accounts expiring in 60 to 90 days

• Order/review loss runs, verify payroll, revenue, and property values

• Coordinate with wholesale/surplus lines brokers on hard to place risks; gather E&S documentation and fraud statements

• Group & Personal Health Insurance

• Manage and update employee censuses for group health prospects and renewals

• Run health insurance quote comparisons across carrier portals

• Track open enrollment timelines and log plan/subsidy changes

• Daily Office & Client Administration

• Answer office phone calls

• Collect new client information and set up client files

• Check new forms for missing details

• Send electronic welcome packets

• Help broker prepare for client meetings

• Renewal Paperwork & Follow Up

• Track renewal dates, send renewal notices

• Collect updated client details, file updated forms

• Follow up on pending documents

• System & Client Records

• Maintain QQCatalyst data hygiene (profiles, documents, effective dates, communication logs)

• Send automated renewal reminders, chase missing underwriting info

• Assist with renewal payment collection and EFT/ACH setup

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years supporting a US based independent insurance agency, with hands on commercial quoting and renewal experience

• Vertafore QQCatalyst proficiency required

• Experience with major P&C, professional liability, and health carrier portals strongly preferred

• Working knowledge of ACORD forms, loss runs, E&S compliance, cyber/professional supplements, and health census data
