The Marketing Communications Manager will shape and execute integrated marketing communications strategies for a diverse portfolio of solutions that help protect the global food supply. This role will work across regions, functions, and industries to develop compelling campaigns, thought leadership, and customer-focused content that engage audiences throughout the buyer journey.

This position will help advance Neogen’s global marketing capabilities by leveraging data, audience insights, testing, segmentation, and demand generation strategies to increase awareness, engagement, pipeline growth, customer retention, and revenue.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

In this role, you will make an impact by:

• Developing and executing global integrated marketing communications strategies that strengthen Neogen’s brand positioning across priority food manufacturing industries

• Creating full-funnel marketing programs designed to drive awareness, engagement, lead generation, pipeline acceleration, customer retention, and revenue growth

• Leading the development of multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital, print, events, public relations, social media, email, and other relevant channels

• Developing industry-specific marketing strategies, messaging frameworks, and campaign plans for priority food manufacturing segments and other strategic markets

• Partnering with segment and regional marketing teams to ensure consistent global messaging while addressing local market needs and opportunities

• Leading cross-functional campaign planning and execution across Product Marketing, Segment Marketing, Technical, Brand, Design, Regulatory, Legal, and other stakeholders

• Overseeing development of high-quality content, including white papers, case studies, blog posts, press releases, newsletters, social media content, and other customer-facing materials

• Translating complex technical and scientific information into clear, compelling content for diverse customer audiences

• Ensuring content is tailored to target audiences, market segments, customer needs, and communication channels

• Applying audience segmentation, customer journey mapping, automated nurture programs, re-engagement strategies, and conversion optimization to improve marketing effectiveness

• Managing the global content calendar and coordinating with internal teams, agencies, and other external partners to support consistent content delivery

• Supporting development of customer-focused messaging throughout the buyer journey

• Using marketing performance data, testing, and insights to evaluate campaign effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement

• Partnering with regional and country marketing teams to align local execution with global strategy

• Providing guidance and best practices related to marketing communications, campaign development, messaging, and content creation

• Collaborating with thought leadership teams to support initiatives that position Neogen as a trusted partner and scientific leader across key food and beverage manufacturing sectors

• Supporting consistent application of Neogen brand standards across global marketing communications

• Managing multiple concurrent marketing initiatives while maintaining quality, consistency, and timely execution

• Identifying opportunities to improve marketing processes, content development, campaign execution, and cross-functional collaboration

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing integrated marketing communications, brand marketing, campaign strategy, or related marketing programs

• Experience developing and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns

• Experience developing messaging, content, or marketing programs for defined customer or industry segments

• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and cross-functional workstreams

• Experience collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners or agencies

• Experience translating complex technical, scientific, or business information into clear and engaging marketing content

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Strong project management and organizational skills

• Ability to independently manage priorities, timelines, and deliverables

• Strong attention to detail and ability to review content for consistency, quality, and alignment

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of relevant marketing communications experience

• Experience within food safety, food manufacturing, life sciences, diagnostics, or another B2B technical industry

• Experience developing industry-focused marketing programs and audience segmentation strategies

• Experience with demand generation, lead nurturing, customer journey mapping, re-engagement campaigns, or conversion optimization

• Experience developing marketing strategies for multiple geographic regions or global markets

• Experience partnering with technical, scientific, regulatory, legal, and commercial stakeholders

• Experience developing thought leadership content and industry-focused campaigns

• Experience using marketing analytics, testing, and performance data to optimize campaigns

• Experience working with marketing automation, CRM, content management, or digital marketing platforms

• Experience managing agency or external creative partnerships
