Our client is an e-commerce business specializing in diesel truck performance parts, automotive upgrades, and accessories. The company focuses on helping customers find the right products through a streamlined shopping experience, backed by knowledgeable customer support and specialized services. They are looking for a proactive paid advertising professional to take ownership of their campaigns, improve performance, and support profitable growth.

What you will do:

We’re looking for a hands-on, analytical Paid Ads Specialist to manage and optimize our client’s paid advertising campaigns across multiple platforms. This role is ideal for someone who understands e-commerce performance marketing, takes initiative in identifying opportunities, and can translate campaign data into actionable recommendations that drive business results.

Key Responsibilities:

Paid Advertising Management

• Own and manage paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram), and Microsoft Ads (Bing).

• Manage monthly advertising budgets of up to $100,000, ensuring spend is strategically allocated toward the highest-performing channels and campaigns.

• Develop, launch, manage, and optimize campaigns to maximize ROAS, revenue, and profitability.

• Manage Google Shopping, Performance Max, Search, Display, and remarketing campaigns.

• Oversee Meta prospecting, retargeting, catalog, and dynamic product advertising campaigns.

• Identify opportunities to expand advertising efforts into new platforms, including ChatGPT Ads and other emerging AI-driven advertising channels.

• Continuously evaluate campaign structures, bidding strategies, audience targeting, and budget allocation.

Performance Optimization & Strategy

• Monitor and optimize key performance indicators, including ROAS, CPA, CPC, CTR, conversion rates, and customer acquisition costs.

• Analyze campaign performance to identify inefficiencies, wasted ad spend, and opportunities for improvement.

• Develop strategies to scale successful campaigns while maintaining profitability.

• Conduct ongoing A/B testing of ad creatives, messaging, audiences, landing pages, and bidding strategies.

• Collaborate with internal marketing and eCommerce teams to align paid advertising efforts with product promotions, inventory availability, seasonal demand, and business objectives.

• Make strategic recommendations based on actual business performance, not just platform-reported metrics.

Product Feeds & eCommerce Advertising

• Manage and optimize product feeds within Google Merchant Center, Meta Commerce Manager, and Microsoft Merchant Center.

• Identify opportunities to improve Shopping campaign performance through product titles, descriptions, categorization, and feed segmentation.

• Understand how product margins, inventory availability, and product performance influence advertising strategy.

• Develop product-specific advertising strategies for high-priority brands, product categories, and individual SKUs.

• Work with internal teams to troubleshoot product disapprovals, feed issues, and advertising policy restrictions.

Reporting & Analytics

• Provide clear, actionable reporting on advertising spend, revenue, profitability, and campaign performance.

• Utilize GA4, Google Tag Manager, and platform reporting tools to validate campaign performance and conversion tracking.

• Ensure accurate tracking of purchases, revenue, and other key conversion events.

• Identify attribution discrepancies between advertising platforms and actual eCommerce performance.

• Present recommendations for improvements, budget shifts, and growth opportunities.

• Maintain transparency around advertising spend and the business results generated.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of hands-on paid advertising experience, preferably in an eCommerce environment.

• Demonstrated experience managing monthly advertising budgets of 50,000–100,000 or more.

• Strong proficiency in Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and Microsoft Advertising.

• Proven ability to manage and optimize Google Shopping and Performance Max campaigns.

• Strong understanding of eCommerce advertising strategies, including product feeds, remarketing, audience segmentation, and customer acquisition.

• Experience working with Google Merchant Center and managing large product catalogs.

• Proficiency with GA4, Google Tag Manager, and conversion tracking.

• Ability to analyze advertising performance and translate data into actionable strategies.

• Strong understanding of ROAS, customer acquisition costs, conversion rates, and advertising profitability.

• Ability to independently manage advertising campaigns, identify problems, and implement solutions.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly explain performance, challenges, and opportunities.

Nice-to-Have:

• Automotive aftermarket industry experience is a major plus, especially in diesel performance, truck parts, accessories, or automotive eCommerce.

• Experience advertising complex product catalogs with vehicle fitment requirements (Year, Make, Model).

• Familiarity with automotive aftermarket brands, product categories, and customer purchasing behaviors.

• Experience managing advertising for Shopify-based eCommerce businesses.

• Knowledge of feed optimization platforms such as GoDataFeed, DataFeedWatch, or similar tools.

• Experience with advanced conversion tracking, Enhanced Conversions, and Meta Conversions API.

• Familiarity with profit-based bidding strategies and contribution margin optimization.

• Experience with ChatGPT Ads, AI-driven advertising placements, or emerging conversational advertising platforms is a significant plus.

• Experience scaling multi-channel paid advertising programs while maintaining or improving profitability.

Benefits

100% remote work environment.

• First 90 days: Part-time, 20 hours per week, under a contractor agreement.

• After 90 days: Transition to a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position.

• Schedule: Flexible within U.S. business hours.

• Compensation: $25 USD per hour, open to negotiation depending on experience.
