Reddit Specialist

Foundation is an AI visibility marketing agency that drives pipeline growth for mid-market and enterprise B2B tech and SaaS companies. We help our clients generate pipeline through content engineered to distribute across LLMs, search, social, communities like Reddit, and every channel their buyers actually use.

As a Reddit Specialist, you’ll be leading the charge on everything Reddit-related: from developing strategies for organic content to managing paid campaigns and building trust within targeted subreddits. You’ll help shape how our clients show up, contribute, and convert on one of the most dynamic platforms on the internet.

WHY THIS ROLE EXISTS:

As Foundation scales its Reddit marketing capabilities for clients, we need someone who can consistently produce native, community-appropriate content across multiple subreddits. This role exists because Reddit is a rule-intensive platform where success depends on understanding and respecting each community's established norms, posting guidelines, and cultural expectations.

WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Lead Reddit strategy development for clients across industries, balancing organic community engagement and paid media tactics.

• Conduct deep research into Reddit communities (subreddits), audience behavior, trends, and conversation dynamics to inform content and media planning.

• Write and optimize native Reddit content that feels like it belongs, because it does.

• Run and optimize Reddit Ads (paid media) campaigns: Testing creative, targeting, and placements for performance and brand lift.

• Monitor Reddit engagement metrics and surface learnings, wins, and optimization opportunities in regular reports.

• Stay on top of Reddit policy changes, platform updates, and emerging tools to keep clients ahead of the curve.

• Collaborate closely with our Content and Paid Media teams to integrate Reddit strategies into broader marketing plans.

• Test and evaluate Reddit-related tools (like Later for Reddit, Adspy tools, automation dashboards) to streamline workflow.

WHAT YOU BRING:

• You're an avid Redditor; you know the lingo, the culture, and the difference between a good post and a downvoted disaster.

• 2–4 years of experience in social media strategy, paid media, or content marketing, ideally in an agency environment.

• Hands-on experience running Reddit Ads or experimenting with Reddit’s paid platform (even if it's a small budget side project).

• Strong writing skills—you can speak Reddit’s language and pivot tone based on the subreddit.

• Familiarity with tools like Reddit Ads Manager, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, Later for Reddit, or similar.

• A strategic mindset and the ability to map Reddit activity back to client KPIs like traffic, leads, or brand awareness.

• Comfortable working cross-functionally with strategists, media buyers, and content creators.

• Bonus: You’ve launched or moderated a subreddit, participated in AMA campaigns, or built something cool on Reddit that got real traction.

LOCATION, TIMEZONE & WORK SETUP:

• Work Setup: Fully remote

• Primary Target Locations: Global

• Timezone: Required overlap with EST timezone for meetings

COMPENSATION:

• Base pay range: $38,000 – $65,000 CAD / year (depending on experience & location)

• OTE: $40,000 - $70,000 CAD / year (Eligible for Company Profit Share, Team/Dept Performance Bonus)

• How We Set Comp: Final compensation is determined by experience, role level, and location. We use a role × level × location framework. We pay intentionally, hire globally, and reward impact.
