About the Client

An emerging U.S. health and wellness brand in the sports supplements and consumer packaged goods space is hiring an Account Executive to own national retail expansion across independent gyms, fitness studios, and commercial foodservice channels.

The company sells premium, science-backed nutritional products with a clean-label, no-artificial-sweetener positioning, and is scaling across retail, fitness, foodservice, and corporate wellness channels nationwide. The team is lean, the sales motion is high-velocity, and this hire works directly with the Head of Sales and a founder-side sponsor.

About the Role

Day-to-day, the Account Executive runs the full sales cycle: high-volume outbound prospecting, decision-maker research, virtual product presentations, objection handling, negotiation, and close — then onboards new accounts into the wholesale portal and grows them over time. Success means consistent execution against daily activity targets, a clean pipeline, and measurable new account volume across target segments.

Core Responsibilities

Outbound Prospecting

• Execute 80 outbound calls, 40 outbound emails, and 15 LinkedIn touchpoints per day

• Prospect independently beyond client-provided leads to build a self-sourced pipeline

• Use Sales Navigator or AI-powered prospecting tools to identify and engage target buyers

• Target decision-makers across independent gyms, boutique studios, health clubs, and other commercial wellness channels

Qualification & Research

• Research 20 new prospects and hold 10 qualified conversations per day

• Identify decision-makers across all 11 target customer segments

• Apply category knowledge of CPG and sports supplements buyers to qualify prospects accurately

Presentations & Deal Close

• Schedule and deliver 2 product presentations per day

• Present the brand's clean-label, no-artificial-sweetener positioning to prospective accounts

• Navigate brand-awareness objections common to an emerging, non-incumbent brand

• Negotiate terms and close new business independently

Account Onboarding & Growth

• Onboard new accounts into the Shopify Wholesale portal

• Maintain and grow relationships with closed accounts post-sale

• Identify upsell and expansion opportunities within the existing account base

Pipeline & CRM Management

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in HubSpot CRM

• Track and report against daily activity and pipeline metrics

• Manage a healthy, forecastable sales pipeline

Requirements

Must-Have

• 3+ years of B2B sales with full-cycle ownership from prospecting through close

• Experience in the Health & Wellness or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.

• Firsthand sales experience in CPG and sports supplements (required, not adjacent)

• Documented closing track record of approximately $1M+ in career sales volume

• Proven closed business in at least 50% of these segments: independent gyms, boutique fitness studios, health clubs, independent grocery, corporate cafeterias, micro-market operators, B2B foodservice

• Sustained high-volume outbound execution (80 calls / 40 emails / 15 LinkedIn touchpoints per day) with independent lead generation beyond provided lists

• LinkedIn Sales Navigator or comparable AI prospecting tool fluency, plus CRM pipeline management (HubSpot, Salesforce, or equivalent)

• English at C1+ CEFR level (voice-heavy, client-facing role)

Nice-to-Have

• HubSpot CRM specifically

• Segment coverage beyond 50% of the target customer list

• OTC pharmaceutical sales background or broader supplementation category exposure

• Shopify Wholesale portal experience

• Prior experience selling to U.S. businesses at volume
