The Opportunity: Senior Credit Manager, Mexico

Mexico was Tilt's first market outside the US. Since 2022, our cash advance product has helped over 1 million customers access short-term credit on transparent, affordable terms. We are hiring a Senior Credit Manager to own the day-to-day credit performance of that product: the policy, the unit economics, the experiments, and the results. You will report to the Head of Credit, Mexico, and work across a small, high-impact set of leaders in credit, data science, and collections.

This is a remote role with a strong preference for candidates based in Mexico. Travel for company onsites is expected at least twice a year.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Own the credit performance of our core product: Set and tune the cash advance credit policy in Mexico, encompassing eligibility, loan amount assignment, pricing, and repeat-loan progression. Your decisions will strike the optimal balance between growth and profitability for the product.

• Model the unit economics: Maintain and improve the valuations model that is the foundation of credit and marketing decision-making. Use it to measure performance, identify opportunities, and turn those opportunities into results.

• Run the test-and-learn agenda: Design, launch, and read experiments across the borrower lifecycle.

• Monitor and intervene: Track vintage performance, early delinquency, and roll rates. Catch drift early, diagnose the cause, and fix it.

• Turn model releases into policy: Partner with Data Science to take new risk models from validation to production, size the impact, and own the release and monitoring plan.

• Drive results across the business: Work with Product, Engineering, Collections, Finance, BI, and Marketing to get changes built and measured.

• Give and get: Share insights with and learn from the credit teams in our other markets. You will be part of a unified global credit organization that operates at the highest standards across Mexico, Brazil, India, the Philippines, and the U.S.

Why You're a Great Fit

• 5+ years in consumer credit risk, fintech or digital lending experience preferred.

• You have experience managing credit policy for a live portfolio.

• You have experience getting leverage from agentic AI tools to improve the velocity and quality of your work. You are excited about experimenting with new tools to automate workflows and accelerate your impact.

• You have built or owned a unit economics or valuations model and used it to make business decisions.

• You have designed and read A/B tests with guardrails, and you can distinguish between signal and noise.

• You write clearly for an executive audience and can move Product, Engineering, and Data Science partners without formal authority.

• You have working knowledge of the Mexican consumer lending market.

• You have professional fluency in English. Knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
