Senior Email Marketing Specialist

MailerLite is one of the fastest-growing email marketing services. We help more than 1 million businesses around the world stay in touch with their customers. Today, we are a team of more than 170 dreamers, adventurers, and world travellers passionate about what we do and believe in. And we are ready for another talented person to join the party.

Email marketing is at the heart of what we do, and our own email marketing should be the best proof of that. We're looking for an experienced Senior Email Marketing Specialist to join our SEO & Content Team and push our email marketing to a level that our customers, and the wider email marketing community, look up to. If you live and breathe email marketing, experiment with what makes an email engaging and an email list grow, plugged into where the industry is heading, and full of ideas most people haven't tried yet, this is a role built for you. 🚀

Why MailerLite?

Wondering why we think you'll love working at MailerLite? Here are 6 reasons!

- You'll own the craft, not just the calendar
Every newsletter, campaign and lead magnet you send is a chance to show what great email marketing actually looks like.

• You'll get to explore angles others miss Room to pursue original takes on email marketing. Content sharp and unique enough to get noticed, talked about, and cited.

- You'll have experts at hand
Whenever you’re stuck, your teammates with a wide range of different expertise are ready to help. And they’d love for you to share your knowledge too!

- You'll grow, develop and evolve
As part of a team that's always looking for new, innovative ways to offer value for our customers, you'll constantly be experimenting, learning, and trying out new things.

- You'll take ownership
We expect you to take full responsibility and ownership of your tasks. Team leads avoid micromanaging and minimize interruptions so you can stay focused on your assignments.

- You'll pick where you work, every day
We embrace the remote culture. Every day you get to choose what environment makes you most productive.

What you’ll work with

• Manage all email campaigns from creation and writing to launch, measurement and optimization

• Build and nurture automations to turn prospects into customers and ensure the existing automations are up to date

• Own our lead magnets end to end: come up with new ones, write the copy or brief our writers, and keep existing ones accurate and up to date

• Identify opportunities to grow our email list. Build the forms, pop-ups and landing pages that turn visitors into subscribers

• Keep our MailerLite accounts organized and up-to-date. Build out segmentation and interest groups, and tailor messaging, tone and cadence to different audience segments and industries

• Partner with our writers to brief and produce blog content. Review and level up our existing email-marketing content, and push into more advanced topics

• Go after original, underexplored angles on email marketing: the kind of ideas that are novel enough to earn citations from LLMs and attention from search engines

• Measure email marketing performance and define KPIs. Analyze campaign performance and suggest and implement improvements.

• Keep our sending practices aligned with deliverability standards and industry best practices

• Stay genuinely immersed in the email marketing world (new features, research, trends, community chatter) and turn what you learn into content and strategy

• Coordinate with our Email Lifecycle Manager so marketing and product/lifecycle email stay consistent without overlapping: you own list growth, segmentation strategy and campaign/newsletter content, while they own the product-side flows

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in email marketing, ideally in a SaaS company where email was a core growth channel

• A strong writing portfolio: you can show newsletters or campaigns you've personally written that performed well

• Proven experience growing an email list organically, building segmentation, and creating lead magnets

• A sharp editorial eye: you can review other people's content and make it meaningfully better

• Genuine, ongoing curiosity about email marketing: you follow the space, test new approaches, and have your own point of view

• Comfortable both writing hands-on and briefing others: some execution will be supported by our writer team, but you'll personally cover every newsletter and campaign
