Social Media & Community Management Virtual Assistant (US/Remote)

We’re hiring a proactive and highly independent Virtual Assistant to support a fast-growing, personal-brand-led coaching business. This role focuses on managing social media content, engaging with the community, overseeing inbound messages, and identifying potential leads.

This is not a sales or closing position. You’ll use your judgment to recognize potential prospects and route them to the sales team for follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, publish, and manage content across social media platforms.

• Monitor and respond to comments using the brand’s tone and voice.

• Manage email and social media inboxes.

• Identify potential prospects in emails, comments, and DMs.

• Route qualified opportunities to the sales team with clear context.

• Independently determine which messages require a response, escalation, or sales handoff.

• Keep content and communication workflows organized.

• Use AI tools to improve efficiency when appropriate.

Requirements

• Strong written communication and professional judgment.

• Ability to work independently without constant instructions or supervision.

• Comfortable working asynchronously in a remote environment.

• Previous experience as a Virtual Assistant, Social Media Assistant, Community Manager, or similar remote role.

• Able to recognize sales opportunities without attempting to close them.

• Organized, proactive, and reliable.

• Interested in building a stable, long-term working relationship.

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting a coaching business, personal brand, or fast-growing small business.

• Familiarity with media buying and basic paid advertising concepts.

• Experience using AI tools as part of a daily workflow.

• Previous experience managing high-volume inboxes or online communities.
