Job Summary

The Strategic Partnerships Manager is a key customer-facing role responsible for facilitating strategic Go-To-Market (GTM) execution for new products and the expansion of existing products into new geographic or sector markets. Engaging directly with Clinical, IT, and administrative leadership at prospective customer sites, this role ensures optimal execution of Proof of Concept (POC) pilots. Utilizing strong project management skills, the Manager bridges internal TMS departments with external customer teams to establish pilot success criteria, gather feedback, measure pilot impact, and deliver data-backed recommendations for full market rollout.

Job Duties

• Customer Engagement & Representation: Serve as the primary customer-facing liaison for prospective clinical, technical/IT, and operational leadership during GTM initiatives. Articulate product value propositions and ensure customer stakeholders understand new product capabilities.

• Pilot Site Identification: Work closely with Sales, Business Development, Account Management, and Support to identify, evaluate, and target optimal sites for strategic pilots and proof-of-concept deployments.

• POC Structure & Success Criteria: Collaborate directly with customer teams to define proof-of-concept structures, workflows, clinical/technical success criteria, and evidence-building frameworks.

• Cross-Functional Project Management: Apply rigorous project management to coordinate timelines, deliverables, and alignment between internal TMS teams and external customer stakeholders.

• Feedback Loops & Organizational Insight: Systematically collect, organize, and relay qualitative and quantitative feedback from pilot sites back to internal stakeholders in Product Management, Marketing, and R&D.

• GTM & BI Collaboration: Partner closely with the Business Intelligence GTM Analyst to measure pilot impact, evaluate success metrics, and formulate data-driven recommendations for commercial market expansion.

• Go-To-Market Strategy Facilitation: Facilitate the development of overall GTM strategy for new markets by sharing pilot outcomes, customer case studies, and evidence with executive leadership and commercial teams.

Job Requirements

• 3–5+ years of customer-facing experience in project management, strategic partnerships, product marketing, or business development (Healthcare IT, Health Systems, or Medical Device software experience preferred).

• Proven track record of managing complex software implementations, pilot programs, or proof-of-concept projects involving clinical and healthcare IT stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Informatics, Communications, or related field required.

• Strong project management skills with the ability to define scope, manage timelines, and coordinate cross-functional teams without direct authority.

• Deep understanding of healthcare customer roles (clinical end-users, nurse managers, IT administrators, hospital executive leadership).

• Ability to rapidly learn complex software products (e.g., CPOE, SaaS platforms) and represent them effectively to clinical and technical audiences.

• Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and de-escalation skills.

• Proven ability to synthesize complex customer feedback into actionable insights for Product and Marketing teams.

• Self-starter with high integrity, independence, and the ability to manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Work Conditions

• Extended periods of sitting and desktop computer operation.

• Working in a remote environment with frequent cross-departmental interaction.

• Travel is required (up to 25%) for customer site visits, pilot launches, and in-person planning sessions.
