Talent Acquisition Specialist

As we keep growing globally, we are looking for a high-energy Talent Acquisition Specialist (Recruiter) to join our People team full-time. You'll own full-cycle recruiting for your roles from start to finish. You'll also help shape our employer brand, culture, and People operations. What You'll Be Doing

Full-Cycle Recruiting

• Own Your Requisitions: Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for sales, tech, and operations roles, from the intake meeting to the signed offer.

• Partner with Hiring Managers: Run intake meetings to define role requirements, write job descriptions, and agree on the interview process and hiring criteria.

• Source & Engage: Build pipelines by finding and reaching out to strong passive candidates on LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and other creative channels.

• Screen & Assess: Review resumes and run phone screens to assess skills, motivation, and alignment with our values.

• Manage the Process: Guide candidates through each interview stage, gather feedback from interviewers, and lead debriefs that end in a hiring decision.

• Close Candidates: Extend offers, handle negotiations with guidance from senior team members, and close top talent.

• Deliver a Great Candidate Experience: Communicate promptly and professionally with every candidate, whatever the outcome.

• Track & Report: Keep our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) accurate and report on your pipeline health, time-to-fill, and other hiring metrics.

Employer Branding

• Brand Storytelling: Create content for LinkedIn, our careers page, and other channels, such as employee spotlights, "day in the life" posts, and team wins, that shows what it's really like to work at OneLocal.

• Careers Presence: Keep job postings, our careers page, and employer review profiles (e.g., Glassdoor) accurate, engaging, and on-brand.

• Talent Community: Build long-term pipelines through university partnerships, virtual career fairs, and networking events.

Culture & Engagement

• Team Events: Plan and run virtual and in-person events, celebrations, and team-building activities that keep our remote-first team connected.

• Recognition & Milestones: Help manage recognition programs and celebrate work anniversaries, birthdays, and company wins.

• Employee Feedback: Help run engagement surveys and pulse checks, summarize the results, and support follow-up initiatives.

• Internal Communications: Draft announcements, newsletters, and updates that keep everyone informed and engaged.

People Operations

• Onboarding & Offboarding: Hand off each hire into a welcoming onboarding experience, including paperwork, equipment, system access, and first-week schedules, and support smooth offboarding.

• HR Administration: Keep employee records accurate in our HRIS and prepare offer letters, contracts, and employment verifications.

• Process Improvement: Document and improve recruiting and People processes, templates, and policies so they scale as we grow.

What You Bring

• Experience: Some experience in recruiting (agency or in-house), talent acquisition, or a closely related field. Strong internship experience in recruiting will also be considered.

• Full-Cycle Mindset: You're comfortable owning a process from start to finish and holding yourself accountable for results.

• The "Hustle" Factor: A proactive, results-driven approach. You aren't afraid to pick up the phone, push back with a hiring manager, or try new ways to find talent.

• Exceptional Communication: Strong written and verbal skills, plus the confidence to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers alike.

• Organization: You can manage multiple requisitions, pipelines, and projects at once without dropping details.

• Creativity: An eye for engaging content and a genuine interest in employer branding and company culture.

• Discretion: Sound judgment and the ability to handle confidential information professionally.

• Tech Savviness: Experience with an ATS and LinkedIn Recruiter is strongly preferred. Familiarity with an HRIS, Canva, or Google Workspace is a plus.

• Educational Background: A degree in HR, Communications, Business, Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
