Technical Operations Engineer (SRE) for an Real Estate Company (US-Based/Remote)

Our client is an e-commerce agency focused exclusively on subscription CPG brands across food, beverage, supplements, and health & wellness.

Role Overview:
We're looking for a Technical Operations Engineer to own the reliability, quality, and integrity of our technical systems and data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor system health, investigate incidents, and implement reliable fixes.

• Build and maintain automation, alerting, and observability systems to reduce manual work.

• Manage data integrity across CRM, customer portal, product analytics, payments, and support tools.

• Investigate and resolve data discrepancies, synchronization issues, and integration failures.

• Develop and maintain automated QA and testing workflows.

• Build dashboards and reporting that enable non-technical teams to self-serve key information.

• Use AWS, Terraform, Datadog, and testing frameworks to maintain reliable technical infrastructure.

• Identify recurring technical problems and automate or improve processes to prevent them.

• Use AI tools as part of daily technical workflows while validating their outputs and decisions.

• Communicate technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• More than +5 years of experience in at least two of the following: SRE/DevOps or Technical Support.

• Working knowledge of AWS, Terraform, and Datadog or comparable monitoring/observability tools.

• Experience with Cypress or another automated testing framework.

• Proficiency with TypeScript/JavaScript or Python.

• Strong ability to write and troubleshoot SQL and NoSQL queries; MongoDB is a plus.

• Experience maintaining data quality and synchronization across CRM, payments, support, or other business systems.

• Strong troubleshooting and incident-response skills.

• Practical experience using AI tools to accelerate technical problem-solving and development.

• Comfortable taking ownership of ambiguous technical problems with minimal supervision.
