We're looking for a creative, proactive, and results-driven TikTok Specialist who understands how to grow a brand's presence on TikTok, create engaging content strategies, and drive traffic and sales through the platform.

About the Role

The TikTok Specialist will help manage and grow Zulay Kitchen's TikTok presence, including content planning, TikTok Shop operations, affiliate coordination, and performance monitoring.

We're looking for someone with hands-on experience managing TikTok accounts or TikTok Shop for an e-commerce brand who understands the platform, keeps up with trends, and knows how to turn content and engagement into business results.

You don't need to know everything, but you should have a solid understanding of TikTok, be creative, data-driven, and comfortable testing new ideas to improve performance.

Key Responsibilities

TikTok Content Strategy & Management

• Develop and execute content strategies that align with the brand's goals, products, and target audience.

• Plan and maintain a consistent content calendar.

• Identify trending sounds, hashtags, formats, and content opportunities relevant to the brand.

• Coordinate with the creative team, video editors, and other departments to produce engaging TikTok content.

• Monitor comments, messages, and audience engagement to maintain an active brand presence.

TikTok Shop Management

• Manage day-to-day TikTok Shop operations, including product listings, pricing, inventory, and promotions.

• Ensure product information, images, descriptions, and links are accurate and up to date.

• Monitor shop performance, order issues, product status, and account health.

• Troubleshoot listing, fulfillment, and other shop-related issues.

• Stay updated on TikTok Shop policies and platform requirements.

Affiliate & Creator Management

• Identify and connect with relevant TikTok creators and affiliates to promote Zulay Kitchen products.

• Manage affiliate outreach, product collaborations, and sample requests.

• Monitor affiliate performance, content submissions, and sales generated.

• Build and maintain relationships with creators to encourage long-term partnerships.

• Identify opportunities to expand the brand's affiliate network.

Performance Tracking & Optimization

• Monitor TikTok account and TikTok Shop performance, including views, engagement, traffic, conversions, and sales.

• Analyze content performance and identify what works best for the target audience.

• Track campaign and affiliate results and recommend improvements.

• Prepare regular performance reports and provide actionable recommendations.

• Test different content formats, posting strategies, and promotional approaches to improve results.

Platform Updates & Growth Opportunities

• Stay informed about TikTok trends, algorithm updates, new features, and e-commerce opportunities.

• Research competitors and identify opportunities to improve the brand's visibility and performance.

• Recommend new strategies to increase audience engagement, product discovery, and sales.

Qualifications

• Previous hands-on experience managing TikTok accounts or TikTok Shop for a brand or e-commerce business is REQUIRED.

• Familiarity with TikTok Shop Seller Center and its day-to-day operations.

• Experience with TikTok content strategy, trend research, and social media management.

• Understanding of TikTok affiliate marketing and creator partnerships.

• Ability to analyze content and sales performance using platform analytics.

• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Creative mindset with an understanding of what makes content engaging and shareable.

• Comfortable using Google Sheets, Excel, and other digital business tools.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

Bonus Points For:

• Experience managing TikTok Shop for a U.S.-based e-commerce brand.

• Experience with TikTok Shop Ads, TikTok Ads Manager, or paid social campaigns.

• Experience recruiting and managing TikTok affiliates and influencers.

• Familiarity with product seeding, UGC, and creator-generated content.

• Experience working with Amazon, Shopify, or other e-commerce platforms.

• Experience growing a TikTok account and generating measurable sales through content.
